I apologize but I added and edited and wanted to share more -
Firstly heartfelt prayers to Lynn's wife Pamela for strength, peace, and guidance through the loss of her sweet loving husband, my cousin.
To know Lynn as I knew him as I grew up he was the mediator, my protector and my escape. I can hear him saying " Now Willie lighten up." And him always saying to Aunt Chardy "ok Mother" or "Yes Sandy" or the famous "Now Now Mimmie" Lol.
Most of all I admire him for the love and respect and support Lynn gave to his mom, granny, my aunt , my mom and me and his wife Pam when she became apart of our family. He doted on each and everyone.
My many memories with Lynn start with him taking me crabbing , 2 jars, a boat and lots of laughs about how Aunt Chardy, Aunt Sandy, Momma ,and Granny were gonna cook them while they would make dashes to escape. Aunt Chardy always saying I'm gonna play the drums and Lynn would hide me he was the peacemaker ALWAYS. Lynn helping in Aunt Chardys garden picking grapes and cucumbers, squash and eating ( he loved eating) , Lynn in many ways was my hero he took me tractor riding, best Domino's player , walks to Mundy Point ,corn picking, and took me to Miss Mary's for watermelon, or to see Mrs. Crab and Mr. Ben or took me in my little outfit ( brown suede with tassels ) out back of Granny's to shoot the b.b. gun ( I thought I was hot stuff lol) and the encouragement he provided and knowledge he shared through all situations with his mild manner, self soothing, loving and heartfelt caring ways. Lynn had a chuckle that would tickle my soul and brought many smiles through the years. My gentle giant . Come to think of it he had the same twinkle in his eye as my momma did.
Lynn was extremely talented and there wasn't anything he couldn't do! He could build ( point and case his and Pam's beautiful home) anything, plant and grow anything. His and Pam's gardens over the years have been such blessings to many) Lynn did what he loved and was where his heart belonged in the country.
However I'll always remember his best talent how he shielded, loved, and guided me while I was growing up and his teachings with the wisdom he provided me. This is the Lynn I know and love he will be truly missed here on Earth but will remain cherished in my 💓 and tucked safely in the corners of my mind. Pam my thoughts, love and prayers are with you.
To all who have helped Pam and Lynn I personally want to say Thank You!
I'm grateful he didn't suffer and is at peace.
Lynn H. Bowers I love you ! RIP
