Ann Gaskins Donovan, 68, a long-time resident of Warsaw, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Born in 1949 in Reedville, VA.
Ann started her career as a telephone operator in Warsaw. Later she transitioned into healthcare as a nurse in the area. She was a member of Warsaw United Methodist Church.
Ann dearly loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She grew up on the water and loved boating, fishing, and watching sunsets from the shore. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room and a kind word for anyone in need.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Harold Donovan; sons, Robert Donovan (Kristie) of Fredericksburg and Wes Donovan (Shelly) of Henrico; daughter, Kelly Haynie (Stacy) of Warsaw; brothers, Eddie, Jimmy, Ray, John, Dale, and Tommy Gaskins; sisters, Charlotte and Becky; six grandchildren, Kyle, Justin, Henry and Avery Donovan, and Rachel and Luke Haynie.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Warsaw United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service.
