Henry Willard Marks, Jr., 89, of Warsaw passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. He was born in Newland, Virginia on February 11, 1927 to Henry Willard and Estelle Lumpkin Marks. He was a retired Delivery Driver for Northern Neck Oil and a World War II Veteran.
Willard is survived by four sons, Jeffery Marks (Debbie) of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Ronald Marks of Glen Allen, Steve Marks (Mary), and Glenn Marks (Michelle) both of Warsaw; a daughter, Glenna Motley (William) of Warsaw; eight grandchildren, Kristen Adkins, Katelyn Drye, Christopher Marks, Joshua Baughan, Caleb Baughan, Nathan Marks, Mallory Marks and Hannah Marks’ and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence France Marks.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at Newland Church of Christ, 1044 County Bridge Rd Warsaw with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel, 10300 Richmond Road, Warsaw.
