Condolence: So very sorry to hear of Mrs. Fidler's passing. She taught me 6th grade when I was attending RCIS back in the late 80's. She made math fun and exciting for her students. In fact, she was one of the teachers tbst influenced me to go to college to become a math teacher myself. She made a great impact on my life and she will be truly missed by all.

Condolence: A poem of condolence for sweet Martha:
Because I could not stop for Death (479)
Emily Dickinson, 1830 - 1886
Because I could not stop for Death –
He kindly stopped for me –
The Carriage held but just Ourselves –
And Immortality.
We slowly drove – He knew no haste
And I had put away
My labor and my leisure too,
For His Civility –
We passed the School, where Children strove
At Recess – in the Ring –
We passed the Fields of Gazing Grain –
We passed the Setting Sun –
Or rather – He passed us –
The Dews drew quivering and chill –
For only Gossamer, my Gown –
My Tippet – only Tulle –
We paused before a House that seemed
A Swelling of the Ground –
The Roof was scarcely visible –
The Cornice – in the Ground –
Since then – ‘tis Centuries – and yet
Feels shorter than the Day
I first surmised the Horses’ Heads
Were toward Eternity –

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the children. Martha and I shared morning conversation at the YMCA as we waiting for our exercise class to begin. She was so eager to do things in the yard and around the house on her own and we laughed about how our children would tell us to let someone do those things for us. Sometimes we cannot know how life will take a turn in an instant. I pray for peace and comfort in remembering her more healthy and happier days and in knowing she is probably raking leaves in heaven!!!
