Obituary for Irving Bobby Lewis
Irving Bobby Lewis, age 78, of Lottsburg, Virginia, passed away surrounded by family on April 27, 2023. He was born on December 25, 1944 to the late Irving "Jack" Berkley Lewis and Ilva Corrine Headley Lewis.
After graduating from Northumberland High School, Bobby went to work at Dupont for 15 years. Following that, he went to work as a commercial waterman for 30 years before retiring.
Bobby enjoyed riding his motorcycle, duck hunting, and collecting Native American Indian artifacts.
He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Lewis; son, Todd Lewis (Melissa); daughter, Connie Lewis Jones (Thomas); grandchildren, Justin Lewis (Alexis) and Tylynn Lewis; great grandchildren, Jacob, Riley, and Bethany Lewis, Ava Bowman, and Adrian Tyers; and his beloved dog, Pumpkin.
A private celebration of life will be held in honor of Bobby at a later date. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Northumberland County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 603 Burgess, VA 22432.
