Obituary for Phyllis Swann Harrison
Phyllis Swann Harrison, age 67, of Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
She was born on September 30, 1955, to Lewis and Jean Swann. Phyllis was actively involved at Cobham Park Baptist Church and worked as a Receptionist for Comfort Consultants for the last 20 years. Phyllis enjoyed life and spread her happiness and love to others. In her spare time, she loved going to the beach, maintaining a beautiful yard, cooking, eating blue crabs, and playing Rook. She also enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with others. Most of all, she loved and cherished her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.
Phyllis is survived by sons, Kevin Blake Harrison (Tiffany) and Tyler Brent Harrison; a daughter, Holly Blair Sanford (Albert); three grandchildren: Conner Sanford, Emma Sanford, and William Blake Harrison; her brother, Warren “Shiney” Swann; her sister, Priscilla Rock; and her significant other and best friend, Jimmy Withers.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Bethany Baptist Church with Pastor Donald Bowen officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Bethany Baptist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made, in loving memory of Phyllis, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 201 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
