Obituary for Harry Leonard Packett Jr.
Harry Leonard Packett, Jr., 79, of Montross, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 10, 2023. He retired after 35 years at Levi Strauss Co. as a material spreader and was a member of Rappahannock Baptist Church.
Harry is survived by his brothers, Sherwood Packett (Sadie) of Warsaw and Norman Packett of Pennsylvania; sister, Doris Christen of California and sister-in-law, Ruth Packett of Montross.
He is preceded in death by his parents, H. Leonard Packett and Celesta Jenkins Packett and brothers, Claude Packett and Stanley Packett.
The family will receive friends at Rappahannock Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 1 pm to 2 pm with the funeral service immediately following at 2 pm. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Harry, to Welch Funeral Home at 17546 Kings Hwy. Montross, VA 22520.
