Obituary for Randolph Edward Bowen Sr.
Randolph Edward Bowen, Sr., 84, of Hague, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. He was a member of Coles Point United Methodist Church and a founding member of the Big Buck Hunt Club. Randolph enjoyed making crab pots, hunting, fishing and was considered an all-around country boy.
He is survived by his son, Randy Bowen; daughters, Teresa Ann Caroll and Lynn Bowen King (Donald); brother, Frankie Bowen (Linda); sister, Mary Brooks; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Randolph is preceded in death by his parents, William Northern Bowen and Modie Lee Hinson Bowen; wife, Laurie Estelle Gordon Bowen and brothers, Carroll and Walter Bowen.
The family will receive friend from 6 pm to 8 pm on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Welch Funeral Home- Montross Chapel. A service for Randolph will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 with visitation one hour prior at Coles Point United Methodist Church. Interment will proceed at Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Coles Point United Methodist Church Fund, c/o George Sisson, PO Box 354 Hague, VA 22469 and Cople District Vol. Fire Dept. PO Box 51, Kinsale, VA 22488.
