Obituary for Nancy Christine Taylor
Nany Christine Taylor, 65, of Upright, Virginia passed away at home on November 27, 2022, after a very brave battle with cancer. She was a loving mother and sister. Nancy was the daughter of the late Russell Taylor and the late Mildred Mitchell Taylor. She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church in Dunnsville. Nancy loved birds, flowers and cheering on her favorite team, the Washington Commanders/Redskins.
Surviving Nancy are her devoted son, Michael Taylor; her dear sisters, Linda Whitlock and Peggy Stokes (Ronnie); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Nancy had a special nickname for each of them. She will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life for Nancy will be held at Lebanon U.M.C. on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Paulette Almond officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in Nancy’s Loving memory to the MCV Foundation, P.O. Box 980234, Richmond, VA 23298. Please write “VCU Tappahannock Cancer Care Fund 50710” in the check’s memo line.
