Obituary for Joyce Bernice Williams (Adams)
Joyce Bernice Williams, 73, of Callao, formerly of ALexandria, Virginia passed away at home with her beloved husband by her side. Joyce was the daughter of the late George Adams and the late Gladys Williams Woodfork. She was the wife of Seth S. Williams. Joyce was a retired secretary who had two wonderful careers – one at the Hartford Insurance Company and the other with Fairfax County Public Schools. She was a Northern Virginia native who retired to the Northern Neck to enjoy her retirement in the country.
Joyce loved to spend time with her family, and nothing made her happier than being with them. She loved watching westerns, sitting on her porch watching the deer, birds and other wildlife in her yard. Joyce loved to socialize and visit with friends and family. She was a kind and loving person.
Left to cherish her memory are her adoring husband Seth; her dear son William Foxworth (Angela); her grandsons Juan Foxworth and Michael Foxworth; her stepdaughter Tameika Williams; her step-grandchildren: Maia Williams, Aria Spears, and Cory Spears; and her sisters Janice Blake and Doloris Garner. Joyce was predeceased by her parents and her siblings: William Woodfork, Sharon Adams, Bobby Adams, Caroline Adams, Avonn Washington, and George Adams.
A celebration of life will be held for Joyce at a date and time in the near future in Centreville. When the family makes these plans, they will be posted here, so please check back.
