Clara H. Bryant went home to be with the Lord on July 21st, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Bryant; her parents Nellie & Gerald Headley; her sisters: Ruth Smither (Carlie), Geraldine Evans (Carroll), Doris Lapin (Ed) and Norma Kines (John); her brother Gerald Headley (Charlotte); and her brother-In-law Paul Jones, Sr.

She is survived by her two daughters Marilyn Bryant & Suzanne Hicklin; her sister Eleanor Jones of Heathsville; her granddaughter Robin Nash (William Nash); two great-grandchildren William Carter Nash and Leighah Marie Nash of Gloucester, Va.; and many nieces & nephews.

Clara was know as Mom Mom to her grandchild and great-grandchildren. Mom grew up on the water. She loved fishing & crabbing. She loved spending time with her family. She always looked forward to her Spring flowers.

Clara worked at the Bank of Callao and then First Virginia Bank in Callao for 25 years. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 30 years with her special friend Olive Jean Thrift and her mom Mrs. Davis. She also served on the Tape Ministry for many years.

Clara (Mom) was the rock of the family. She will always be remembered for her love of God, family, her giving spirit and beautiful smile.

We love you Mom! You will be forever in our hearts.
