Obituary for Earl Simon King
Earl Simon King, age 90, of Village, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. He was born on November 8, 1930 to Luther and Myrtle King.
Earl was a member of Totuskey Baptist Church. He worked as Fuel Delivery Driver for Frederick Northup, retiring after 40 years of service. Upon his retirement, Earl took a job with Waste Management and retired from there 20 years later.
Earl is survived by two sons, Ed King (Loretta) and Ennis King (Missy); grandchildren, Amanda Mallory, Stacy Kleinschmidt, and Denise King; and two great-grandchildren, Blake and Sara.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Elsie B. King; and a daughter, Dianne King.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Totuskey Baptist Church with Rev. David Dunaway officiating. The eulogy will be presented by Earl’s son, Ed. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Totuskey Baptist Church.
Those attending the service are asked to wear masks and social distance. Those exhibiting symptoms should not attend.
