Roger Earl Dudley, age 73 of Montross Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was a retired US Army Vietnam veteran. He was born March 26, 1947 in South Bend Indiana. He was the son of late Starr Minor Dudley and late Eileen Boss (née Broxterman).

He enjoyed the latest technology, singing, and preaching at his church. He loved going on long walks with his dog Daisy. He loved being with his friends and family.

Survivors are his wife, Patsy Jean Dudley of Ramey, MN, two daughters Sharon Pennifield of Stafford VA and Carolyn Hodge of Midland, VA , and two sons Brian Dudley and Robert Dudley of North Carolina. His siblings are Diane Willhite of Cincinnati OH and Scott Dudley of Cincinnati OH.

He has 18 grandchildren and their names are Joshua, Lisa, Brittany, Kasey , Benjamin, Brandon, Keegan, Kalen, Kelsey, Aubrey, Mackailee, Madilyn, Lola, Layla, Skylar, Hannah, Noah and Reign.

Great grandchildren are Bentley, Annabelle, Sophia, Everly, Zayden, Riley, Avery, Aspyn and Rhyse.

Funeral service will be held at Quantico National Cemetery on Monday, February 8 at 1 PM. It will be a graveside service, space is limited.

Pastor Todd Brown of Victory Baptist Church will be officiating the service.
