Obituary for Mary Katherine Lagomarsino
Mary Katherine Lagomarsino, age 100, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
Mary was the widow of William Donald Clark (married 44 years), and David John Lagomarsino (married 7 years). She was a member of Smithland Baptist Church, loved singing and was in many choirs over the years. Mary was quite the seamstress making many matching outfits for her girls. She was also an avid reader and loved her family dearly.
Mary is survived by: four daughters, Bettye Ann Oswalt (Dave) of Fairfax, Mary Clark Rouse of Falls Church, Pamela Jean Coppage of Cross Junction, Virginia, and Joyce Ellen Burrows (Bill) of Parkville, Missouri; a son, David Luther Clark of Ellicott City, Maryland; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Ann G. Gilchrist; and three brothers-in-law, Keith Gilchrist, Roy H. Hunt and Albert Luther Clark.
Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Estelle Whitehurst, a sister, Bettye M. Hunt, brother, George “Bud” McClanahan, and a great-granddaughter Allison Grace Kerr.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm, Friday, January 15, 2021, at Smithland Baptist Church Cemetery. Those attending are required to wear masks and practice social distancing. Those exhibiting symptoms should not attend.
