Virginia “Ginger” Hayden Fulford went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2020. Ginger was a 36 year veteran of the Richmond County School Transportation system. She loved yard sales and cooking, but raising her children and grandchildren was her biggest love. Ginger was a hard worker and could outwork most men. She is survived by her husband Ralph E. Fulford; three daughters, Gayle F. Chatham (Norman), Kristi F. Dunn (John), and Kimmie (F. Dunaway (Joey); son, Brad Fulford (Tammy); seven grandchildren, Brian, Kayla, Dylan, Amber, Lindsey, Dalton, and Anna; five great grandchildren, Jacob, Austin, Mason, Keagan, and Mckenna; and four sisters, Rebecca Ramsey, Linda Fisher, June Davis, and Marian Self. Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, Roland Randolph Hayden and Nellie Hamblin Hayden; and her sister Patsy Bell. To honor Ginger’s request, a private graveside will be held in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Virginia, PO Box 2098, Tappahannock, VA 22560.
