Michael Todd Jewell, 53, of Farnham, Virginia, known affectionately as Todd to his friends and family, went home to the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2020, while doing what he loved – running. Todd was the beloved son of Roy Lee Jewell and Donna Marie Bryant Jewell and the devoted husband of 31 years to Dawn Marie Jewell. He was a Computer Specialist for Bank of America and grew up in Totuskey Baptist Church.

Todd is survived by his parents, wife, and three sons: Matthew Todd Jewell (Morgan), Joshua Michael Jewell (Andrea), and Jacob Brice Jewell (Brianne). He was the cherished big brother to his sister, Janet Jewell Childs (Norman), and a wonderful uncle to her daughters, Kristen Holland (Wes) and Kaylee Childs. He also leaves behind Rusty, his faithful canine companion. Todd lived for his family and he will live on in them.

An avid runner and cyclist, Todd had completed several marathons. He loved a good cup of coffee and hanging out around a campfire with his family. There was nothing more important to him than spending time with them.

A funeral service for Todd will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2020, at the Rappahannock Church of Christ in Warsaw. Burial will follow in the Totuskey Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Jewell, Joshua Jewell, Jacob Jewell, Wes Holland, Norman Childs, Dougie Bryant and Bud Handly. All attendees are asked to kindly observe social distancing and are encouraged to wear masks. Seating in the church has been set up to facilitate a safe environment.
