Obituary for Nancy Rock King
Nancy Rock King, age 82, of Farnham, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020. She was the daughter of Willie J. and Bertha Iola Rock.
Nancy was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She loved to sing and was choir director for adults and children. She was a talented seamstress and at one time worked for Levi Strauss. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling. She loved her large family and will be deeply missed by them.
Nancy is survived by her son, Lewis F. Schools, Jr. (Debbie); daughters, Vanessa S. Gupton, and Jennifer S. Davis (Steve); step-son, Audie King (Betty); step-daughters, Nancy Phillips (Richard), and Ann Mundie (Ronnie); grandchildren, Travis Schools, Casey Bolt, Angela Clarke, Dougie Clarke, Pam King, Megan Hale, Glenn Allen Sydnor, Damian Sydnor; step-grandchildren, Vernon King, Amanda Marks, Ashley Phillips, Crystal Carter, and Kevin Mundie; great grandchildren, Bryce, Maggie, Davis, Emmalee, Kinsley, Vincent, Zoey and Brice; step-great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Alyssa, Haley, Danny Ray, Tiffany, Brantley, and Kaitlyn; sister, Nuchie Taylor; and sister-in-law, Audrey Rock.
Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Schools; brothers, Ronnie Rock (Priscilla), Willie Rock, Jr., and Leonard Rock (Annie); sister Mary Ellen Butler; husbands, Frazier Schools and Aubrey King; and a special friend, Stanley Dunaway.
