Obituary for Howard Lloyd Hobson
Howard Lloyd Hobson, age 79, of Tappahannock, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. He was the son of Austin Lloyd and Dorothy Marshall Hobson. Howard was a born again Christian and attended Northern Neck Baptist Church and Ephesus Baptist Church. He was the founder of Construction Safety Consultants, Inc. where he established relationships with many clients all over central and eastern Virginia. Howard was member of the Brick Mason Union for over 50 years. He worked for OSHA at its inception and was involved in National Labor Relations.
He is survived by his son, Howard Lloyd “Jeep” Hobson, Jr. and his wife Pamala; his daughter Brenda Jill Campbell and her husband John; a brother Marshall Lee Hobson; and his four grandchildren, Joshua Elim Hobson, Christian Faith Hobson, Justin Hobson, and Jeffery Alton Taylor.
Howard was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Lee Hobson and a grandson, Cody Ryan Hobson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
