Obituary for Barry Lynn Arthur
Barry Lynn Arthur, age 69, of North Chesterfield, passed away on March 12, 2020.
Barry was a self-employed Tow Truck Driver who in recent years considered himself semi-retired. He operated a limo service for years and always loved to drive. He never turned down the opportunity for a road trip. He also loved being outdoors, especially the time he spent fishing.
He is survived by his long-time partner, Mitzi Jones Sizemore; a daughter, Lindsey Arthur Thivodeau; four grandchildren, T.J., Erica, Jersey and Jaxx; two great-grandchildren; brothers, James Earl Arthur (Patsy), and David Lee Arthur, Sr. (Cathy); a daughter in law, Karen Fletcher Arthur; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Cora Arthur; a son, Timothy Wayne Arthur; and a brother, Allen Floyd Arthur.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Trinity Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, 8469 Atlee Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116 with Pastor Helen Simpson and Pastor Gerald Castleburry officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060 or Trinity Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, 8469 Atlee Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.
