Obituary for Elton Monroe "Bubbie" Headley

Elton “Bubbie” Monroe Headley, age 71, of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019. He was born on January 7, 1948 to Albert Monroe and Florence Rosella Davis Headley. Bubbie was a heavy equipment mechanic for Mack Corporation. He cut demos in Nashville, loved classic cars, country music, and would DJ at private parties and weddings.

Bubbie is survived by his brothers, Johnny Ray Headley (Darryl), Roy Headley (Paige), Gary Matthew Headley, and Michael Headley (Christy); sisters, Catherine Clark (Charles), Sue Ellen Thorne (Jim), and Pamela Jean Self; numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones; and his faithful companion, Cannon.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Leona Clark Headley; his parents; and two brothers, Albert Wayne Headley and Norman Headley.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel with Pastor Lee Farmer, officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Totuskey Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel.
