James Napoleon Newsome, Jr. age 88, of Heathsville, Virginia passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019.
James was the son of James N. and Garnett Headley Newsome. He was a Medic in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his brother, Joe Newsome (Linda); his granddaughter, Vivian Newsome; his nephew, Joey Newsome; his niece, Michelle Newsome; his great-nephew, Carter Mitchell; his great-nieces, Taylor Mitchell and Abby Newsome-Clarke; and daughter-in-law, Monique Newsome.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Newsome; a son, Michael Newsome; a brother, Alton H. Newsome; and sisters, Lurline Newsome, Louise Watkins, and Mary N. Snyder.
The family will be holding a memorial service privately.
