William Michael “Mike” Anthony, age 70, of Warsaw, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019. He was born on October 13, 1948 to Ivan and Ruth Anthony. Mike was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation where he was employed for 32 years.

Mike is survived by his cousins, Debbie Davis and Norma Sanford; and nieces and nephews, Betty Steuber (Mark), Alvin Belfield (Candy), Bobby Belfield (Cheryl) Warren Belfield (Marie) and Paul Belfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Jenn Belfield and Donna Holt.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:30 pm at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel with Pastor Wade Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow the service in the St. John’s Episcopal Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Riverside Hospice, Riverside Cancer Center and Riverside Infusion Center for the wonderful, compassionate care shown to Mike and to others in the community.
