Obituary for Robert Ernest Guthrie
Robert Ernest Guthrie, 83, of Callao, a retired self employed laborer and life time member of Henderson United Methodist Church where he had 26 years of perfect Sunday School Attendance.
Robert was the son of Robert E. Guthrie and Minnie Cookman Guthrie. He is also preceded in death by his half brother, Thomas Guthrie.
Mr. Guthrie is survived by his nephew, George Guthrie and good friends, Ernest and Nancy Thrift and Joyce Woolard.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Henderson United Methodist Church, at Callao, with interment following in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1 pm to 2 pm at the church before the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Henderson United Methodist Church, Happy Meals at P.O. Box 22, Callao, VA 22435.
