Obituary for Bina Holliday Booker (Baker)

Bina H. Booker, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.

She was born on February 1, 1933 in Lizemores, West Virginia to the late Ira T. and Mamie (Dawson) Baker. Bina relocated to Indianapolis in 1995 and worked for several area banks until her retirement in 1999. She was a current member of Castleton United Methodist Church and also enjoyed attending St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Bina enjoyed spending weekends on Lake Monroe with her husband of 17 years, Robert E. “Bob” Booker III.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband; children, Jenny (Larry) Quick and Butch (Jenny) Holliday; step-children, Jane (Greg) Evans and Ann Booker (Dru Stevens). Bina is also survived by her grandchildren, Emmie (Josh) Dean, Kelly Quick, Kyle Holliday, Cooper (Charisse) Holliday, Jamie D’Agata, Kaitlyn Lake and Kelcey Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Imogene Campbell and Bonnie Terrack.

Bina will be laid in rest at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 in Farnham, Virginia following a graveside service at Farnham Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Bina's honor to the American Cancer Society.
