Obituary for Carl Jamison "Jamie" Douglas
Carl Jamison “Jamie” Douglas, 40, of Montross, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019.
Jamie is survived by his mother, Vicki M. Nash and step father, James P. Nash of Montross; and his father, Carl G. Douglas of Callao VA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, including his very loving and special “Aunt Sheri”. He was preceded in death by his loving companion “MiMi”.
Jamie was a great baseball and softball player; was a big Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys fan, and loved car racing and hunting. Jamie’s heart was as big as his smile and he had a great love for all children and animals.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Popes Creek Baptist Church, 9131 King’s Hwy. Montross, VA.. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Headley and Pastor Wade Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Westmoreland or Northumberland Animal Shelters.
