Celestia Ann Fisher, 69, of Lottsburg, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of the Northern Neck and was very well versed in local history and was an incredibly talented seamstress, although she began her professional career as a bookkeeper. Celestia was one excellent cook, especially known for her homemade cinnamon rolls. She loved cats and dogs and bottle fed several puppies and kittens. Celestia kept a wonderful garden. She was a dedicated member of Bethany Baptist Church and helped with the Sunday school.

Celestia is survived by her high school sweetheart of 51 years, John Mansfield Fisher, Sr.; son John Mansfield Fisher, Jr. and wife, Kathy; brother-in-laws, Franklin Fisher, Sam Fisher and wife, Nancy; cousin, June Herbert; sister-in-law, Judy Fisher; special niece, Betsy Fisher as well as a host of other loving family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Watt Tyler Herbert and Georgia Kate Hutton Herbert; brother and sister-in-laws, Shirley Fisher, Ann Fisher, and Albert Fisher.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Bethany Baptist Church with interment following in the Fisher Family Cemetery in Lottsburg, VA. Family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services at the church.
