Obituary for Joyce R. Hill (Rest)
Joyce Rest Hill, 68, of Spotsylvania, VA passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018. She was retired as a program analyst at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA and was a member of Yeocomico Episcopal Church.
Throughout her life she made a more beautiful world for those she loved by sharing her skills in gardening, painting, decorating and cooking the best food with her family, friends and precious grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Lee Hill, of the home; son, Jason Hill (Nikki) and daughter, Sherry H. Roberts (Steven) all of Fredericksburg, VA. She is also survived by a sister, Diane Freeman (Mike) of Tucker Hill, VA and grandchildren, Olivia Verlander, Amanda Roberts, Sara Roberts, Ella Hill and Charlotte Hill.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Welch Funeral Home, Montross, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
