Obituary

Eleesa Booth Lowery, age 70, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 27th, 2018. She was comforted by her family as she crossed over.

She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, R.M. "Mac" Lowery, Jr. : a daughter, Ellen Lowery Copeland ( Paul): a son, Turner Lowery, a sister Laura Cameron-McCown (Lee) and a brother Thomas Booth (Paulette). And her special Niece Alane Cameron Ford (Phil) and her great nephew Jefferson Cameron Miles and great niece Lorelei Cameron Miles.

Eleesa was a member of Warsaw United Methodist Church. She loved singing in the choir and was the Youth Group Leader in 1991. Her personality 'filled a room, and she loved all of her friends so very much. Especially her 'JUGS.' She was a wonderful and fun loving Mother whom all of the kids loved to visit. She loved to laugh and tell great stories of fun and adventures she had throughout her life. She was a steel magnolia, and a survivor. Her greatest joy was her children Ellen and Turner. And her greatest love and faithful caretaker, was her husband Mac.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Jane Walker and a sister Elizabeth "Libby" Krause. And her beloved friend, Cheryl Riley, all of whom she missed everyday.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 31st 2018 at Warsaw United Methodist Church. Reverend Daniel Burch will be officiating. A reception for friends and family will follow the service in the fellowship hall.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the Richmond County Rescue Squad and ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Richmond County Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 1000, Warsaw, VA 22572.
