Obituary for Lois Raye Anderson (Embrey)
Lois Raye Anderson, 81, of Callao, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018. She was a retired Seamstress for Levi Strauss and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Lois is survived by her son, Wayne G. Anderson of Callao; daughter, Shirley A. Cook of Dunnsville; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Osborn Embrey and Gertrude D. Dawson Embrey; and sister, Helen B. Brannen.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel with interment following in the Northern Neck Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond SPCA at 2519 Hermitage Road Richmond, VA 23220 or your local animal shelter since Lois had a special place in her heart for dogs.
