Babetta Jean Norwood, 79, of Hague, VA passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was the widow of Gilbert Eugene Norwood, Sr., a retired secretary at Department of Education, Washington, DC and a member of National Baptist Memorial Church, Washington, DC. She is survived by three sons, Robert Wade Norwood and Gilbert Eugene Norwood, Jr. both of Hague, VA and David Glenn Norwood and wife Carol of LaPlata, MD. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Fort Lincoln Cemetery Chapel, Brentwood, Maryland. Interment will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery immediately following the service.
