Naomi served by my my side for 15 years as the Church secretary at Northern Neck Baptist Church as a volunteer initially. She was my right hand in serving the flock. She became like a mother to us, listening, loving, encouraging mend advising me to the betterment of the ministry. I'll never forget the respect, loyalty and love her and George showed means Pastor and fellowservants in Christ. She even continued to send flowers for the Church from her sick bed for 5 years. Many hours were spent discussing and praying for their family's spiritual progress together. Her positive attitude and sense of humor helped us keep the larger perspective in focus. When I answered the call to Missions, I dreaded telling her most. It was hard to move away in her time of need, but we were able to visit many times and it always felt like we were coming home down that long road to Lewisetta.

To the family and friends of Ms Naomi Guthrie,
I am so sorry for the loss of your cherished loved one. Death is an enemy of the human race and is merciless towards all whom it encounters.
As you prepare to move forward with your lives, my hope is that you may find a measure of comfort from the Holy Scriptures.
The promises made by Jehovah God will come true.
Revelation 21:3,4. Acts 24:15.
Take care.
