Condolence: I am so glad that in this lifetime, I was able to call Shari "friend". Though it was during our junior and high school years, that special bond remained in spite of time and distance-evident at our last high school reunion. We were so glad to see each other. As I looked back on words penned by Shari, so many memories came to me and all of them caused me to smile. Best of all, reflecting on our memories helped me find something to help me find another friend since high school days. Even in her death, she has brought life to me. Thank you God for Shari's life and more, allowing us to share some of it together! Family, please know that Shari's life made a forever impact and her legacy of love will continue on. My prayers and thoughts will be with you for years to come.

Condolence: I have only known Shari for a few month. We both entered our employment together in June at United Healthcare. Over the last few months she have been so helpful and nice. We both came in the door together trying to learn as much as we could during trainings. She was a great teammate and I will deeply miss her. I would always talk with her online and over the pass few month we grow close. She was a very nice woman and always friendly. When I heard of her death took a lot out of me, not only a co worker but A FRIEND. I pray for her children and family. I'm sad this morningto have to be typing my condolences and this have been a shock on us all. From myself and the united family we are sorry of your passing.

Condolence: Shari was a beautiful soul and a kind, loving spirit. Her children are a reflection of a mother's devotion to her purpose. We never saw her without a smile on her face even in tough times. She had a strong will and fierce determination always. Her passing has deeply touched our small neighborhood in Mangohick. She will always be remembered for being and Angel to each of us at one time or another. We are grateful for her service to our country and to our community. It's said that there's no ocean in heaven, but there's a River of Life that runs through it. I know in my heart she's in a chair by that river with her feet in the sand and God has said to her, "Well done my good and faithful servant". Till we see you again sweet lady...

Condolence: "Mama Shari" has been in my life since her daughter, Ariell, and I became friends in middle school. She had such a strong love for her family and friends- I felt that love from day one. She made me feel like I was another daughter of hers, which was so special. She was there through every milestone and/or hardship that Ariell (and her family, in general) faced. She was kind. Shari had a delicate way about her and the sweetest voice. She was a huge comfort for her family. There were countless times that Ariell would call her on Bluetooth in the car while she and I were headed somewhere... and sometimes it was to talk about a good price for steaks, which I thought was so funny! Also, Shari was a beach-lover (as am I!) and I was able to spend a week with her and the family at Topsail. That was a great week and I'll always be grateful for that time. Shari was an outstanding cook. Her spaghetti and meatballs instantly come to mind- I'm sure Ariell will continue that tradition with her recipe. There are so many things. She was always very motivating- I remember her and Ariell doing workouts together after school (after Ariell and I went on our afternoon walks)! Shari was just a great mom in general... always giving her all for her family in every capacity. She was a hard worker! I always felt that she and Ariell had a great relationship and I know she is thankful for that. I could go on and on... I will miss her hugs and her pretty smile. Even when she wasn't feeling 100%, she still had a smile on her face. What a fighter. What an inspiration... to so many! Mama Shari was one of the strongest people I've ever met and I hope to be half the woman she was. I will continue to share a smile and a kind word to others in her memory. She will never be forgotten. My heart will always love her and we will see her again one day. I love you, Mama Shari.
