Arthur Bror Lowery, 85, of Hague peacefully departed his Earthly life on August 16, 2018 surrounded by family. Born in Seneca, Maryland, he was the son of Doyle A. Lowery and Alleyene B. Sager Lowery. A retired Foreman of the Fairfax County Virginia Bus Depot where he lived for many years; Arthur moved to the Northern Neck in 1990 where he enjoyed driving the bus for Woodland Academy for over 9 years.

Arthur leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Wendy Lowery Padgett and her husband Thomas Padgett. Also surviving are his sister Wilma Borham of Tennessee; and his beloved grandchildren: Michael Vandeloecht, Cody Vandeloecht, Austin Vandeloecht, Lillian Padgett and Kara Padgett. Arthur also leaves behind three step-children, Edward Armstrong of Springfield Virginia, Lynda Peyton of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Raymond Armstrong of Fredericksburg Virginia; and six grandchildren, Sean Armstrong, Michael Armstrong, Terry Simms, Brandon Simms, Erica Peyton, Maia Armstrong and Reilly Armstrong.
A loving father and grandfather, Arthur was known for his love of crabbing, fishing and trips to Jack’s for coffee. Arthur will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service to honor Arthur’s life will be held on November 24, 2018 at his daughters home in Kinsale.
