Thomas Allen Jenkins, 85, of Warsaw, went to be with his Lord on Monday, June 18, 2018. He was a member of Rappahanock Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon for many years, Warsaw Bauman Lodge #332, and Betty Lewis Chapter OES. He was a lifelong farmer and an avid gardener. He was a US Army veteran and was retired from Naval Surface Warfare Center.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary “Molly” Ford Jenkins; son, Gary Allen Jenkins; daughter Pamela Jenkins Fawver (Bruce), all of Warsaw; sisters, Margaret J. Wiley of Dover, PA, Erma Mae Hysell of Waldorf, MD and Verna Lee Bateman of Prince Frederick, MD. He is also survived by grandchildren, Erin Fawver, Kyle Fawver (Dana) and Thomas B. Jenkins (Brooke); great grandchildren, Meredith Fawver , Aidan Fawver, Mason Jenkins and Reagan Jenkins and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Frances Jenkins; brothers, Percy Jenkins and Everette Jenkins; sisters, Louise Darnell, Elsie Hanger and Ruth Behl.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Rappahannock Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Foster and Rev. David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.
