Anna Wilson Fones, 88, of Callao, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018. She was a retired telephone operator for Contel Telephone Co., a member of Bethany Baptist church and a wonderful mother.

Anna is survived by her son, Ronnie D. Fones (Karen); three daughters, Darlene F. O’Bier (Tony), Gloria Davis Morris (Chuck) and Brenda F. Braswell (James); sister, Doris Ann King; seven grandchildren, Shelley Lewis, Dwayne & Tonya Davis, Ryan & Robbie Barrack, Kayla & Bailey Fones and four great-grandchildren, Anna & Ben Lewis, Jenna Davis and Graysen Barrack.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George E. Fones, Jr., parents, Joseph and Nettie Wilson, and brother, Vernon Wilson.

A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 6 pm.
