Brent Leonard Cross was born on December 12, 1975 in Cheverly Maryland. He passed away on May 23, 2018 in Clinton Maryland at the age of 42. He was born and raised in Maryland and when he was a teenager the family moved to Virginia. He worked for many years in the restaurant business.
Brent is survived by his loving parents Melvin K. and Katherine J. Cross, daughter Kayla K. Cross of Montross Virginia, sister Kristi R. Roston of Waldorf Maryland and grandmother Terry Cross of Colonial Beach Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his brother Paul M. Cross, grandparents Harold S. and Barbara A. Kuster and also grandmother Barbara A. McDonald. Brent is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends which he considered family.
Brent was outgoing. he loved to dance, sing and have a good time. Brent had an infectious smile and the most beautiful blue eyes. He loved spending time with his daughter, and he enjoyed attending concerts festivals and traveling. Brent was an avid Washington Redskins fan and he loved attending the games or watching the game with friends. He loved to read and write poetry and had a love for great art.
A Memorial Service for Brent will be held Wednesday June 6, 2018 at George Washington’s Birthplace 1732 Popes Creek Rd, Colonial Beach, VA 22443.
