Condolence: We were so sorry to learn of Poochie's passing. He was our yard man for a number of years. We knew him when he was a young man working for Callao Supply and enjoyed many conversations with him. We watched his family grow and got to know Ethan and John and the others on his crew. He was always ready for a laugh. We will miss him but trust that we will meet again in a far better place one day. He talked about "the good Lord" and trusted that HE looked after him. Our good thoughts, prayers and wishes for good memories to flood all of his family in the days ahead, comforting as only they can.

Condolence: This has really touched my heart. Poochie and I had quite a few conversations about our lives and struggles. I am a grateful recovering alcoholic with some years under my belt and I would tell him how the length of time sober did not matter, it was our need to surrender to our higher power and take it One Day at A Time. I'm so sorry, but he was a good man with a big heart. May he R.I.P. I'm sure they have deer in Heaven and he'll find one to befriend. Now Dallas Cheerleaders, maybe not! I told Melissa to please take good care and if I can help in any way to be ears to listen, don't hesitate to come see me. I will remember that awesome smile and always kind words. Prayers to all the family. Peace, Health & Happiness Joyce

Condolence From: Thomas Preston
Condolence: I’m so sorry to hear this very sad news. Poochie definitely had an impact on my boys and I through the time we got to know him. I’m so sorry I will not be able to attend as I’m out of town officiating a wedding. Trust me he won’t be forgotten! My boys will forever push around trucks pretending to be him with a pack of hounds in the back! Sending prayers for the family from the Preston family! God bless you guys. Thomas Preston

Condolence: To Mrs. Brann and Poochies family , I am so saddened to hear of Poochies passing , and you have my sincere heartfelt condolences. I had many a laugh and good time with him years ago around Callao. He was a loyal friend to myself and many others . I would often run into Poochie when I "came back home" for visits and it was always a great pleasure to reminisce with him and catch up with my beloved Northern Neck , and salt of the earth people like him. May you take some comfort in knowing that he was a true friend to many of us,and how much he loved his family , and the fact that he told me often , how much his family meant to him when we would talk. . My thoughts and my prayers are with you in your loss, and may God give you all the strength needed once again to see you through your time of sorrow.
