Obituary for Elizabeth Lee "Bee" Wright

Elizabeth Lee Wright, of Westminster Canterbury Richmond, Richmond, Va., passed away on February 6, 2018. Known as “Bee,” she was born in Fredericksburg at Mary Washington Hospital. She was a native of Warsaw, Va. and the daughter of the late Thomas Temple Wright and Fannie May Morgan Wright. She was a graduate of Stuart Hall, Converse College, R.P.I. School of Social Work and the School of Medical Technology at the Medical College of Virginia. Bee worked for many years at MCV and Johnston Willis Hospital and was a longtime volunteer at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.

Bee was preceded in death by her sister-inlaw, Gladys Joyner Wright.

She is survived by her brother, William M. Wright; her nephews and niece, Thomas T. Wright II, Janie W. Morgan (Pat), M. Ryvers Wright (Viveca), William M. Wright Jr. (Laura); and her great-nephews and nieces, William M. Wright III (Katie), Emily S. Wright, Anna N. Morgan, Rachael R. Wright, Katherine E. Wright and Thomas F. Wright.

Interment will be at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Warsaw on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 1 p.m.

A memorial service will be held at Westminster Canterbury Richmond on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at 11 a.m.
