Mary Ann Self, 78, of Mount Holly, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018. She was a member of Nomini Baptist Church.

Mary Ann is survived by her two sons, Charles M. Self, Jr. (Linda) of Newland and Kenneth E. Self (Jason Jenkins) of Bristow; daughter, Wanda L. Fones (Ricky) of Foneswood; grandchildren, Joshua Fones, Kirsten Self, Kaitrin Self and Nicky Fones; and special caregiver and friend, Caren Awad.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Emmie Fields; husband, Charles Monroe Self, Sr., and sister, Bonnie Jean Headley.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Nomini Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6pm to 8 pm on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home-Montross Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Welch Funeral Home, 17546 Kings Hwy., Montross, VA 22520 in memory of Mary Ann Self.
