Dorothy “Dot” W. Vanlandingham, 91, of Montross, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018. She was the widow of Lavern “Plum” Vanlandingham and a retired public health nurse for Westmoreland County. She stayed active with her nursing classmates and was a member of the Friendship Group.
She is survived by sons, Michael L. Vanlandingham (LaNieve) of Warsaw and Thomas S. Vanlandingham (Debbie) of Montross; daughter, Lori V. Pegelow (Tad) of Montross. Also surviving are grandchildren, Justin Vanlandingham, Rachel Pegelow and Paul Pegelow. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Josephine Williams and sisters, Janie Viele, Virginia Dixon and Martha Meyer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home, Montross, Chapel. Interment will be in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel.
