although i have so many great stories of working with Mikey ( thats what i always have known him as) ...one that stands out is a fight call with injuries, that me and my partner Dave Mc Mahon ran one night...to make the long , short...upon gaining secured PD entry, we had a mid 20's #2 male with multiple deep stab wounds. the guy was literally "leaking " like a collander. Dave and i plugged this guy up the best we could until Medic 25 arrived. Mikey always let us participate in every aspect of treatment, even though we are basic medics. this guy drained IV's as fast as we hooked him up..o think we had atleast 2 bags going in.....Well, by some devine intervention, we saved this dude. Dave, Mikey and myself all ended up in the papers, getting Chiefs Award in Upper Marlboro...We later found out this guy was a ******bag, but we dont care ,we try to save live's, and we did.....Sorry for the long story, but this was one of my favorite experiences with Mikey. The skills he taught me carried into my Paramedic classes, years down the road, although at times, instructors over the years were taken back at some of the un-ethical medical treatments i learned from him...That is Mikey...RIP my brother, CM
