Marjorie Wessells Keranen, age 80, of Warsaw, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. She was an activist for school reform in the 1970s and the founder of Parents Who Care. For over twenty years she co-owned and operated Red Door Bait and Tackle in downtown Hague.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Joe Allen Keranen; two sons, Charles Keranen (Cindy) and Joseph Keranen; five brothers, Tom Wessells, George Wessells, Bill Wessells, John Wessells, and Gerry Wessells; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and twelve nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Self and a sister, Dorothy Tilburg.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Carmel United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
