Virginia Clark Allison, 86, of Haynesville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017. She was born in Haynesville, Virginia, on May 13, 1930, to Vincent and Marion Clark.

She retired from Contel Telephone Company after 41 years of service. She was a member of Totuskey Baptist Church and the VFW Auxiliary Post 7167.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Allison, and four brothers, Weston, Lester, James Vincent and Robert Gene Clark.

She is survived by her three children, Ann Balderson (Billy), Bobby Allison (Geraldine) and Mary Lou Beasley (Buster); six grandchildren, Allison Carter (Dougie), Melody Sisson (Rodney), Tray Allison (Melissa), Rob Balderson (Amanda), John Beasley (Rebecca), and James Allison (Loren); and seven great grandchildren, Devin, Dylan, Luke, Ayden, Lillyan, Carter, and Kayson.

The family will receive friends on March 7, 2017, from 6-8 pm at the Welch Funeral Home, Haynesville, VA. A funeral service will be held on March 8, 2017 at 2 pm at Totuskey Baptist Church, Haynesville, VA with interment in the church cemetery.
