Life Story for Doris Marie Pitts (Hall)

Doris Marie Hall Pitts, 75, of Montross, widow of William A. Pitts, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and had worked at Beans Store in Montross and later at Mattauck.
She is survived by one sister, Rose H. Jenkins of Warsaw, a special niece, Brenda J. Collins, and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl R. Hall and James E. Hall and sister, Gladys Coates.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Welch Funeral Home, Montross, VA with Pastor V. Wade Wilkins and Dr. Don Zamponi officiating. Interment will follow in Providence United Methodist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Providence United Methodist Cemetery Fund, PO Box 913, Montross, VA 22520 or Bon Secour In Hospital Hospice, 8580 Magellan Pkwy., Richmond, VA 23227
