Donald Edward Stolz, 80, of Warsaw, Virginia passes away Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was a retired Computer Programmer at UNISYS and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Don was also an avid fisherman, a proud Marine and loved his family dearly.

His is survived by his wife of over fifty years, Mary Laura East Stolz; his son Ronnie Eugene East (Paulette); grandson David East (Tracie); great-granddaughters Hailey and Kiley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Bernard Stolz and Matilda Pennick Stolz; his baby daughter Pamela Stolz; three brothers, Jake, David and Bobby Stolz; and two sisters, Marilyn Mittermayer and Margie Starr.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel. Rev. Dr. Don Zampogna will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions in Don’s name to Beulah Baptist Church at 130 Beulah Lane, Warsaw, Virginia 22572.
