Obituary for Leonard Eugene "Gene" Walker

Leonard Eugene “Gene” Walker, 72, of Callao, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was a truck driver for B Line Trucking and a member of Coan Baptist Church. Some of Gene’s favorite things were fishing, camping, Nascar and country music but he most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Gene is survived by his wife, Angela Walker; two sons, Michael and Leland Walker both of Callao; two daughters, Shelley Dawson and Angel Vandeloecht both of Callao; sister, Irma Moon (George) of Lottsburg, and two grandchildren, Heather Delano and Conner Vandeloecht.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Charlotte Walker.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Coan Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center at Richmond, Inc. at 4202 Hermitage Road, Richmond, VA 23227-3755.
