Obituary for Mary Sanders (Hayden)

Mary Sanders (Hayden)
Mary Ellen Sanders, 88, of Warsaw, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018. A longtime member of Cobham Park Baptist Church, she loved her church and church family where she had served as Sunday school teacher, financial secretary, and a member of the WMU and various committees.

Mary Ellen is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, H. Webster Sanders; son, Gary Webster Sanders (Donna); grandchildren, Brooke Sanders, and Brock Sanders (Morgan); one great-granddaughter, Penelope Quinn; brother, Robert Hayden; sister, Margaret Ann O’Bier, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Garner and Allene Hayden; brothers, Headley Hayden, Coleman Hayden and Wayne Hayden, and sisters, Gladys Haynie Sisson and Merle Middleton.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Cobham Park Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at 1 pm at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cobham Park Baptist Church Mission Fund at PO Box 306 Warsaw, VA 22572.
