Jean Cralle Sisson, age 76, of Callao, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. She graduated from Longwood University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education and Virginia Commonwealth University with Masters of Education. Jean was a member of Gibeon Baptist Church and a retired teacher for Northumberland County Public Schools and a certified aerobics instructor.

She is survived by daughter, Kimberly Staples (Charles); a sister, Dorothy Reynolds (Billy); and nephew, Lance Reynolds and his children, Channing and Chase.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Andrew and Carolyn Ann Cralle.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 30, at 3:00 pm at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel. Interment will follow in Gibeon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
