Betty Lee  Campbell (Carr)
Betty Lee Campbell, age 78, of Cabin Point, formerly of Cheverly, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, March 17 2018 at the Orchard in Warsaw, Virginia. She was a self-employed Tax Accountant and a member of Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church.

Betty enjoyed being an active member in her community and was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Ladies Friendship Group, the Westmoreland County Garden Club, Busy Bees and was an officer of Glebe Harbor-Cabin Point Property Owner’s Association. She also served as a member of Andrew Chapel’s United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her sons, James Eckard, Jr., and William Eckard; a daughter, Barbara Healey (Michael); two step-sons, Lars Eckard (Maria), and John Campbell; a step-daughter, Nora Edelen (Michael); a brother, Hubert Carr (Launita); two sisters, Juanita Woodyard and Mary Dotson (Dave); five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husbands, James Eckard and Edward Campbell; a brother, Edmund Carr; and a sister, Vera Stanley; and her parents, Luther and Bertha Carr.

A memorial service will be held on Friday March 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Elmore officiating.

A reception will follow at Glebe Harbor-Cabin Point Club House.
