Obituary for Charles Wayne Hennage

Charles Wayne Hennage, 78, of Montross departed his Earthly life on January 31, 2018. A retired charter boat captain, Wayne was born in Montross to Charles S. Hennage, Jr. and Eva Mae Fones Hennage.

Wayne is survived by his son Chuck (Tiffany) of Montross and two daughters; Dara Headley (Johnny “Squirrel”) and Terri Landman (James), both of Hague. He is also survived by grandchildren Taylor, Tyler, Drake and Hatcher Hennage; Samantha English (Robbie); Alexis Headley; Megan Balderson (John) and Joshua Landman (Viv) as well as niece Tam Foxwell and great-nephew Creek Foxwell. Beloved great-grandchildren are Cassidy Roberts, Madison Balderson and Hunter Landman. Wayne also leaves behind his best friend Charles “Dickie” Davis. He was predeceased by his parents as well as his sister Joyce Kane.

The family will receive friends at Welch Funeral Home Montross Chapel on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. His Memorial service will be held at a later date.
